Metallica at Las Vegas Sphere: Everything You Need to Know
Metallica is coming to Vegas. And ticket sales are a bloodbath. As of April 2026, the official word from Metallica and Sphere Entertainment is that the entire 24-show residency is effectively sold out on the primary market.
This article is about how (if possible) you may be able to get tickets, the schedule and the venue.
The Schedule: No Repeat Weekends
Every weekend features two completely different setlists. If you attend both Thursday and Saturday, you will not hear the same song twice.
October 2026: 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31 (Halloween)
November 2026: 5, 7
January 2027: 28, 30
February 2027: 4, 6, 18, 20, 25, 27
March 2027: 4, 6, 11, 13
Doors: 7:00 PM | Showtime: 8:30 PM
Ticket Options & Access
With the primary market sold out, your options are limited to the secondary market or remaining high-end suites. Here is how to secure entry while avoiding scams.
1. Official Fan-to-Fan Resale
Metallica utilizes Ticketmaster’s Fan-to-Fan Exchange for verified resale. These are re-issued in your name, ensuring the ticket is valid.

2. Secondary Market (Trusted Resellers)
Sites like SeatGeek and StubHub offer buyer guarantees (100–120% refund if the ticket fails).
SeatGeek: Best for "2-Day Pass" inventory. Check SeatGeek
Vivid Seats: Ideal for finding "Snake Pit" or floor inventory. Check Vivid Seats
3. The "Fifth Member" Contests
Join Metallica’s Fifth Member Fan Club (free) for a chance to win Snake Pit passes and ticket upgrades.
Action: Sign up at Metallica.com and check the "Contests" tab roughly two weeks before your show date.
4. Suite Reservations
For large groups, some suites are managed separately for corporate or private bookings.
Action: Contact the Sphere box office or luxury sales team at TheSphere.com.
5. The "Royal Flush" Waitlist
Check for any re-released 2027 all-access passes due to cancellations.
Action: Monitor Superfan Live.
Scams: How to Spot the Bullshit
NO Social Media Deals: Never buy from Reddit, Facebook, or X. Screen recordings of tickets are easily faked.
Avoid Screenshots: The Sphere uses rotating barcodes (SafeTix). A static screenshot will not scan; the ticket must be transferred directly to your Ticketmaster account.
Getting There & Staying There
The Venetian Resort is the only hotel with a direct indoor bridge to the venue.
Travel Bundles: Vibee offers the only official hotel + ticket packages for No Repeat Weekends. Book Vibee Packages.
Parking: Expect to pay $45–$75 on-site. Use SpotHero to find lots at the Hughes Center or nearby garages for ~$30.
Bag Policy: The Sphere is strict. Clutches/fanny packs must be 6” x 6” x 2” or smaller.
Sphere Tech
Metallica’s digital, ampless stage rig works natively with Sphere Immersive Sound (HOLOPLOT).
The system beams audio directly to individual seats to prevent the "echo" typical of arena rock, ensuring studio-quality clarity during high-speed thrash segments.
