The Las Vegas Buffet Guide for 2026: On and Off the Strip

Las Vegas is renowned for its extravagant dining experiences, and few culinary offerings capture the city’s spirit of indulgence quite like its buffets. Unfortunately, post-Covid, the Buffets that we have all known to love, respect and revere have become more of an endangered species.

Survival is always of the fittest and there have been some longstanding contenders that have weathered the storm.

Buffets On the Strip (Updated 2026)

Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace

Often hailed as the crown jewel of Las Vegas buffets, Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is a must-visit for food lovers. With over 500 dishes prepared daily, this buffet offers an unparalleled variety of cuisines, including Mexican, Asian, Italian, and seafood. Highlights include succulent crab legs, made-to-order omelets, and a dessert station featuring mini cupcakes and gelato. The upscale ambiance and attentive service make it worth the splurge.

  • Hours: Typically open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • Prices (approx.): Expect prices $85-108+. Add $100 for the Lobster Claws. Check for seasonal promotions.

Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan

Wicked Spoon redefines the buffet experience with its chic, modern vibe and artfully presented dishes. Instead of traditional steam trays, many items are served in individual portions, adding a touch of elegance. Don’t miss the bone marrow, Korean short ribs, and decadent dessert bar. The Cosmopolitan’s trendy atmosphere makes this buffet a favorite among younger crowds and foodies.

The Buffet at Bellagio

The Buffet at Bellagio combines sophistication with variety, offering everything from sushi and seafood to carving stations and Italian specialties. The dessert selection is particularly impressive, with a chocolate fountain and an array of pastries. The elegant setting, complete with views of the Bellagio fountains, makes this buffet a classic choice for a luxurious dining experience.

The Buffet at Wynn

Known for its fresh, high-quality ingredients and stunning floral décor, The Buffet at Wynn is a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The menu features 15 live-action cooking stations, including a dedicated vegan section. Standout dishes include the prime rib, Alaskan king crab, and made-to-order crepes. The whimsical, garden-like ambiance adds to the overall charm.

Circus Circus Buffet

Though we love Circus Circus for The Steakhouse and the resort’s nightmarish twist on nostalgia, the buffet doesn’t hold the highest regards. Averaging only 2.8 stars for reviews, they feature the Americana essentials for those looking to max out on gluttony for a slightly unreasonable price.

Vegas Pauly C suggests they lower it to $9 and we fully agree.

  • Hours: Weekends see brunch ~7 am–2 pm and weekend dinner in late afternoon–evening; weekday hours vary.

  • Price Range: ~$32–$41 for weekend periods (tax included).

MGM Grand Buffet

A more affordable option on the Strip, the MGM Grand Buffet still delivers a satisfying spread with a focus on American comfort food and international favorites. The carving station, omelet bar, and dessert selection are crowd-pleasers. While it may not be as extravagant as some of its competitors, it’s a solid choice for a hearty meal.

Excalibur Buffet

Located inside Excalibur Hotel & Casino, the Excalibur Buffet is a basic, low-cost option focused on familiar comfort food rather than premium offerings. One kid eats free per purchase of an adult buffet.

  • Price Range: $32.99 weekdays, $38.99 weekend brunch, $43.99 Mimosa brunch

Tips for Enjoying Las Vegas Buffets

  • Timing is Key: Arrive early to avoid long lines, especially at popular buffets.

  • Expensive Buffet Strategy: With expensive buffets like Bacchanal, Wynn, and Bellagio, don't eat the cheap carbs like pizza, bread, salads, pasta; instead focus on steak, lamb, like crab/lobster, pork, sausage. If you have to have a side dish, keep it small like a small salad, soup.

  • Check for Deals: Many buffets offer discounts for locals, seniors, or early-bird diners. Look for coupons or promotions online.

  • Pace Yourself: With so many options, it’s easy to overindulge. Start with small portions and save room for dessert!
